Studying We Wei came after a life long questions and curiosities. 

 

The curiosity for social and cultural differences came very young, as a young child I was astonished by social and cultural differences in the village as we had in the early ninety-sixties many Moluccan from the old Dutch colonies. 

 

Not only this, also the village difference in religions and social status had a deep impact on me. 

 

Where maybe others slowly adopted the world’s disparities in there first cycle of life (12 years in Asian culture), it never let me go.
